SAT 1570~Hearty thanks to Classic English & Mr. Xie!
前言
Based on the fulfilling experience, I would sincerely recommend this course to any Chinese speakers taking the SAT.

I am an 11th grade student at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Virginia, US.
I decided to go to Classic English because a previous student, Tiffany S., had recommended it.
She is currently enrolled at Princeton, so I knew that she must have done well on the SAT. In addition, the teacher, Mr. Xie, had a good reputation.
Timewise, my friend’s family as well as my family were going back to Taipei during the summer, so we both signed up for summer course in Classic English.
Learning from the course
In Jul, I took the 4-week SAT intensive course in Classic English.
I was pleasantly surprised at the details and usefulness of the handouts: Mr. Xie's grammar handouts, in particular, explained specific English grammar rules, so not only could I get a question correct, I knew exactly why the other answer choices were wrong.
For example, now that I know what a dangling participle is, I can confidently get a question about it right without just choosing the answer that feels normal, like I did before.
In addition, Mr. Xie himself taught the class in a straightforward, logical manner.
He was always happy to reexplain concepts if I was confused, which I really appreciated.
Preparing for the test
After I took the classes, I studied the handouts and took a couple of online tests.
Besides studying the handouts and doing Khan Academy online tests, I did not do anything else.
However, the online practice problems I took had explanations for why each choice was correct, which helped as well.
Scores beyond expectation
Barely one month later, I took the SAT test on August 27th. On the day of the test, I wore a watch to easily manage my time.
The result of the test turned out satisfactory; I scored 1570.
Based on the fulfilling experience, I would sincerely recommend this course to any Chinese speakers taking the SAT.
