The Best Choice to Overcome SAT
Summary
It was all a very exciting experience to attend the summer course in Classic English, and I highly recommend anyone who wishes to succeed in SAT to go.

I was going to Taiwan in the summer to visit my parents’ family after the pandemic lockdown for more than 2 years, and coincidentally my friend was going to Taipei as well.
My parents tried to find a cram school to help me prepare for SAT, so I had an on-line trial lesson before we went on the trip.
It was a very flexible course and was not overbearing with a reasonable tuition fee.
The teacher was clear, organized, and amicable, and taught us many essential concepts vital to the SAT, so I decided to take the course even though it is conducted in Chinese.
Because our school is a STEM school, we chose not to partake in the math class, and only signed up for Reading and Writing classes.
What did I learn
Classic English taught you how to save time while getting the highest score possible.
The teacher, Mr. Xie, taught us an interesting tactic that helped us save time on the reading portion while extrapolating the main ideas from each paragraph.
Mr. Xie had a patient and warm attitude and was always willing to answer any questions.
The size of the class was relatively small, so the teacher was able to pay special attention to every student and teach based on the students’ needs.
With such a clean and safe environment, Classic English left a good impression after every class.
How did I achieve my goal
During the class, I was very studious, and made sure to practice all the concepts we learned in class right when I got home.
I also made sure to take a mock of one section every night: either Reading, Grammar, or Math. Practice is the most important concept when taking on the SAT.
I would recommend that everyone practices the months leading up to their test date.
Achievement beyond SAT scores
After taking the course, I learned not only SAT skills but also learned how to be more independent.
During the 4 weeks, I was given the chance to choose what I wanted to eat every lunch, where I wanted to go, what I wanted to do after each class.
